I am a little confused on these Vob and Cell Id's. Some of the manuals tell me I should use Vobrator, but this program doesn't seem to work that well. Vobrator doesn't play certain Cell id's. I have been using DVD2AVI to preview certain Vobs/Cells. My question is are there a certain amount of cells on each Vob file? For example, let's say that the main movie VOB's were found in the second set. VTS_02_1, -VTS_02_7, would each one of these Vob's have it's own Cell Id's? It seems like DVD2AVI loads up ALL of the Vobs for the main movie, if I just select VTS_02_1, DVD2AVI will load up all 6 of the Vobs, or however many there are for a movie. I can scan through and preview and see all of the Vob and Cell id's, but where I get confused is when I use IFOedit and put in the Main movie .IFO, and strip, but after the strip is complete I see a vertical list of cell Id's where I can select or not select them all or I can just select the ones I want to keep. I guess my real question is ..what do all of those ID'S represent? Cells? Vobs? If they are "Cells", why aren't they titled "cell id's" instead of Vob Id's? All I want to accomplish is to fit the main movie on one DVD-R with no extras. I thought that is what I was doing after I selected the "main" movie .IFO, and then I go to hit VOB EXTRA'S and strip what I don't want...so why am I getting a list of VOB ID's? I've seen those Vob Id's be as few as "two" where I just select them both, having no clue what the two Vob Id's mean, and I've gotten it to fit on one DVD-R. But when I tried to do another movie I got about 20 Vob Id's, and I was like.....WHOA!...If someone would please take a little time to give me some info on this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
