    I am trying to back up 'High Crimes'. The movie, after all the extras have been removed is about 5GB. Is there an easy way to remove the ending credits from the .VOB file?

    Not easy but use Vobsplit. This works in bytes, so a complicated calculation is needed for an exact cut. If you are reauthoring, use Maestro and drag the end point to where you want the film to end.
