    hey all. long time since i have visited this site.

    i own a JVC-XVS42 and have a question about DVD+R playback. i went to the DVD players section of the site:

    and someone said that it plays "a few" DVD+R's. can someone with the player elaborate on this? someone is going to do a DVD+R for me and I would like to know if it is going to work on my machine or not. any brand recommend over an other for playback on this machine?

    any help would be greatly appreciated.
