Long time, no see!
I have started making VCD's from the Star Trek: TNG season sets. On the first two discs I have done, the last episode on each have ripped incorrectly, and indeed have their run times listed incorrectly in the program.
I have searched the forum, and have only found one other thread about this, but not with a resolution. I have the ability to record manually and peice together what won't rip, but WHAT a pain in the a$$. (plus the quality is not consistant. Not bad, just not consistant)
I am using Smartripper

I'm also ripping the TNG episodes. I find that Smartripper has trouble identifying the episodes. Use DVD Decrypter to rip,it has always properly identified each complete episode and I'm upto season 5-disk 6.

Well, I got DVD Decrypter, and it seems to be doing the job just fine. Thanks for the advice. That's the first time I've seen that happen!
