  1. i got my Cendyne DVR-105 yesterday, and installed it in the computer this morning...but how do I install all the drivers and such? there are no manuals for the software or anything, did anyone else get one? it came with a CD that had nero and everything, and another with WinDVD and Sonic...which CD do I put in first and how do I get the computer to install the drivers for the DVD-RW?

    thanks

  3. i have win2k pro, and it didn't recognize the drive...it is registered as a CD-ROM under the Device Manager

but I already had nero 5.5 installed, but i went ahead and installed the nero that came with the drive, and the thing it picks up is a Virtual Recorder or something like that

  4. nevermind...my old nero software for the cd-burner was causing problems

i uninstalled nero 5.5 and reinstalled the nero express and nero recognizes it now...Win2k still sees it as a CD-ROM drive, but after i burn something in a few minutes, i'll see if it matters or not, i doubt it will, since nero recognizes it

  8. I got one too. It showed up under the DVD/CD-Rom drives on Hardware manager as A pioneer DVD-RW DVR-105. I already had Nero so I only installed WinDVD. I will install myDVD when I get ready to write some movies.

  9. just have to add that I picked up the DVR-105 from OM yesterday. Was there 45 minutes after they opened and all the 2x 104's had been sold. Was miffed but still bought the 105 since it was $80 off. Felt even better when I seen the rebate covered the 105! $169 for a Pioneer A05!

sometimes it pays to sleep in!
