Hi, it seems every dvd i try to copy is above 5 gig or goes up to 7 gigs. Is there a way to burn them or chop them into parts? Help please?

Tripps22,
To my knowledge, not on the Mac YET. On PC, a few solutions:
1) DVDDecrypter and IfoEdit/vobEdit (all freeware, but the "edit" software is hard to learn)
2)DVDDecrypter, DVDSPLIT/DVDBURN: Same software as above (same author) although not free ($25 us) but it IS easy. More user friendly/less techie. Few buttons but takes lots of time.
3) DVDxCopy (321 Studios) expensive ($100), and only works on Windows 2000 and XP, but probably the EASIEST of the three
I purchased and use option 2. I have option 1, but don't have a month to figure it out. Will someday though. VERY powerful. -
if you dont care to keep all the menus and such u can downsample just the video in afropic and then burn to dvd.
