I have had my Poineer DVR-a03 for less than a month and just now it has quit reading dvd's either blank, recorded, or originals

are thayre simular problems others have had with this drive? and is thayre a fix for this?

i was quite happy with my recorder up until this point. I previously had troubles with the HP dvd 100i and returned it for this drive.

please can anyone help me with this?
