slow at 8/4/32. Im just wondering what the max burn speed of DVD

  2. Max speed +RW/-RW is 4x.

Note that in CD technology, 1x = 150 KBps. For DVD, 1x = 1.38 MBps.

  3. To be more specific, the DVD+RW Alliance has approved 4x DVD+R and 4x DVD+RW writing speed while the DVD Forum has approved 4x DVD-R and 2x DVD-RW.

I think he wants the cdr/rw speeds. The Sony DRU500 drives are the fastest at these,as well as DVD + and -.They do cdr at 24x and cdrw at 10x..
