I have the panasonic dmr-hs2 and I have several VHS tapes that I want to archive and then put on dvd-r. Such as the old Star Wars collection. Does anyone know how to get this done? I have tried a product from Sima called the video copy master but the panasonic still give the message "this material cannot be copied"
Any help wouyld be appreciated!

you need a box that FULLY removes ALL copy protection. Not many people are aware that some of these tapes carry the css protection as well. So the sima box may remove one but not theo ther and it could be this it is seeing.
this box works great thopugh it fully and truly removes both signals without degrading the quality:

do a search on google.com and it should bring up places that have it. its not cheap but it works well
