  1. I am very new to DV to SVCD but as far as I understand I cannot apreciate the quality in my avi file in my pc(not with windows media, nor windvd4) because of the interlace/deinterlace stuff.
    My question is:
The only way I can tell of i'am doing a good work is to burn a cd?
    Thanks for the help

I don't have WinDVD4 but it should handle the interlacing. If not, try PowerDVD. I use that all the time to view media files like DVD, SVCD, and VOB.

  3. Thanks.
Actualy it's not that the software it's not capable of deinterlace at all. It does something but the worst it's that I can have beautifull svcd from dvd and I'm able to see them right but I cannot apreciate that quality with the rips that come from DV.
I use Frame serving from premiere and Tmpgenc
