  1. It crashes when trying to load some APS filters?

Does anyone know why or how to fix it?
I emailed ULEAD and they won't get back to me for some reason.
    I don't have SP1 for XP.
I'm running XP, 256Mbyte RAM, 800MHz processor, latest version of DirectX etc....
I had it running on WinME on the same machine I'm running now with no hardware changes,...so I'm at a loss.

    Has anyone come across this?

    Thanks in advance

I'm running it in WinXP. I do have SP1 installed, but it did work before also.

Did you upgrade to WinXP? Have you tried reinstalling MSP? Have you installed the updates from Ulead?

  3. colday,

yeah did all that. Re-installed - twice...
    Checked alot of operating stuff.
    Downloaded patches and updates.
    I can't work it out.
And to top it off, the 2 emails I have sent Ulead haven't been replied to and that was a month ago.

I think I might have used the wrong email contact address on their website.

It opens the audio editor no problem. but when starting up the Video editor, it starts normally until loading APS filters (which seem to be the default VX stuff) and it craps out.

I know XP doesn't come with some Java stuff in SP0.0 so could it be that?

Anyway, I'll grab SP1.0 and see how that goes.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Sorry...

I'm at a loss also. Mine just loads right up. I've done nothing special.

I know it worked before I applied SP1.

You do have admin rights? >shot in the dark<

I doubt very seriously that it is Java, but then stranger things have happend!

    Good luck,
