Hi,
I've heard there are some links to a $50 rebate form from Sony that are floating around somewhere. I've checked around with no success...does anyone know where I could find the rebate form to print out?
Thanks for you help,
Z

I picked up an open box at Best Buy for $299. The rebate takes it down to $249. Only problem is that I'm not totally sure if this drive is for me. Have an A04 and have had no problems. Opinions?
I should add that my net on the A04 (Cendyne) is $199 after rebate from OfficeMax. Selling for $299 at OfficeMax but after a price match from the Circuit City price of $249 the net is $199 (OfficeMax has a $50 rebate on the Cendyne).
Once again, opinions on the which is the better deal? Drive? -
This is so fun .....
I tried it ..... Just to see what would happen.....

Hopefully, this will help some people get their rebates. I purchased my dru500a at circuit city two weeks ago. When I read this post about the $50 dollar rebate, I called Sony and confirmed that yes there is a rebate for dru500a drives that were purchased between 11/15/02 and 01/31/03. So I called Circuit City since they guarantee the lowest price for 30 days after purchase. The told me to bring in my receipt (dated 11/08/02) and they will get me the rebate.
I hope this helps some people, I know it will not help all. This is my first post but I have been coming to this site for awhile now. Take care -
I just called the toll free number on the coupon and verified that they would accept it. They said everything was legit (not that I doubted anybody). I just didnt want to cut off my upc for nothing 8)
