Windows wont start on my other computer. can i press like F4 or something to start in MS-dos. what is the set of keys i can use to start in dos?

Hold down the 'F8' key during the booting up process. This will then lead you to a screen with various options such as 'Start in Safe Mode' amongst others. From here choose 'Command Prompt Only'.
