I used Vdub to cut a xvid movie.
the 1st part of cutting and encoding (TEMPeng) works perfectly no problems.
But the second part is way out of sync, I can't even find if the audio is fast or slow.
I tried just by encoding and by seperating the wav then encoding with no luck.
How can I get this audio to be insync on the 2nd part so I can converto to VCD?
*be advised I'm kinda new to this, I have done it before but this is the 1st time I had this problem.

1. Find a program called Gold Wave. Make a note exactly where at in the original video your second part begins.
2. Open Gold Wave, load the original video into it. Select Edit-->Marker
-->Set. Enter in the Finish Marker box the time you recorded in step 1. Select OK. Select Edit-->Cut. Save as a wave file. You just saved a the portion of the video you need for your second video.
3. Open TMPGEnc. Load the second video as input video, and the new wave file as input audio. Select Start. The resultant file should be your second video with audio in synch.Hello. -
I had this problem with xvid and vdub before. Use vdub and save a new avi with uncompressed audio. Do this in vdub....
1. video>>>direct stream copy.
2. Set the audio settings the same as when you made the wav.
3. Save as avi.
This will save the video with uncompressed audio all into one file.
Now use this new video and split it with vdub.
It worked for me, hope it works for you too. If it does not, use Goldwave as suggested. I've also used this program to correct audio problems. -
I think i know What I have done wrong, When I make the wav file I am suppose to take it from the orginal? Because I wasn't, I was using the cut film to make the wav.
I'll try to make it from the orginal, then use the Goldwave if it don't work. -
My suggestion was to use Gold Wave to extract the audio from the original video. Guess I should have been clearer.
Hello. -
I guess So should I. I did use goldwave with the orginal from the starting point of the 2nd part.
It worked!! The audio is right on.
Thanks for your help!
