  1. The two products that I can see that support Mini DVD (DVD-on-CD by any other name) are Roxio VideoWave 5 and Dazzle DVD complete.

Are there others I missed? I know most of them can produce VCD, but that's MPEG-1 quality and I'd like the ability to have MPEG-2 . . .

Which of the ~$100 packages are recommended? I know that the uLead DVD Workshop seems to be preferred by a lot of people, but it's a bit steep for someone who is just starting out.

Pinnacle Studio 8 also seems to be ~$100, but I seem to be seeing a lot of negative comments on this one . . . but very little comments of any sort on the Roxio and Dazzle products so I don't really know which way to turn right now . . .

  3. I thought I saw someone write that DVD Workshop was $44.00; or do you mean something else when you say it's a bit steep?

The Sonic DVDit! PE I use also does miniDVD.
