  1. I want to be able to burn a vcd format to a dvd...i assume that the dvd player doesn't care that it is on a dvd rather than a regular cd...right?

  3. that way i can fit two or more vcds on a dvd then play them on a dvd player...

Second question is...Is it true that a dvd player that also plays vcd and mp3 cd uses two different lasers to read?

If so that might pose a problem in my theroy....
