    I tried to make the Player codefree like descriped in DVD Hacks (Palm with OR). I send the code several times and the player always turns off. So I think the code is ok.
    But I havn't any feedback if it realy works (I have no DVD region 1).
    How can I check that the region code is off?

    Why did you bother then if all your discs are the same region

    I did that because I first want to see if it works and after that I would buy a region 1 DVD. Not before.

    Good thinking, but I guess the only way to be absolutely sure it works is to try a region 1 disc.
