I have converted my whole movie to MPEG VCD format. But It is one whole file for the entire 2 and a half an hour movie. Is there any utility to cut this file into 2 or 3 depending on your cd capacity ( say 74Min or 80Min ).
Also while using VCDEasy I am getting a message 'Padding is required, vcd may not play properly'. What is this message? How can I remove Padding required? Is this going to affect the quality of the picture?.
I am using FLASKMPEG to convert my video. Is there any way to create XVCD using FLASKMPEG?

Why use FLASK? IMHO TMPGenc is superior in any respect I can think of.

You can use the "MPEG Tools" option from TMPGenc's "File" menu to demultiplex your MPEG file. Then remultiplex the video and audio (also in MPEG tools), making sure to chose "MPEG1 Video CD" as output file type. This will not reencode, just add the necessary padding - provided your files are otherwise OK for VCD standard use.

BTW TMPGernc is free software as long as you do only MPEG-1, which is all you need for VCDs. If interested in SVCDs or non-standard CDs you can buy TMPGenc plus which isn't that expensive either.
