I have a Pioneer DVD 434 DVD player. When playing an audio CD (burned or factory) it cuts off the first second of each track before playing the track. I put the audio CD in, then the first song plays like normal, but the first second is just cut off. It does that on each track UNLESS I skip prematurely to a different track. The DVD player is hooked up to a Harman-Kardon AVR 120 receiver. I have it hooked up with a fiber optic cable. So the DVD player may not even be the one at fault, it may be the receiver...it which case I would be very disappointed (set me back like $350) and to a student, that's quite a chunk of change. Email me at tigersharky80@yahoo.com for any solutions/ideas to this problem. I have already tried some things with no success. I am thinking of just getting a new DVD player, maybe a 5-disc changer with all the goodies. Any suggestions about which model to get???
