Could someone give me a 'quick' summary of what the Mt. Rainier tech is, why its important, and if its worth waiting for. Nextly, does anyone have a link to an article that goes into more detail about the subject?

Yea, would take less than 30 secs, even on 14.4k. Same applies to "search" in forums, but how often do we get the same questions asked all over again? (i.e. best capture card, divx/xvid codec problems, and such...)
