Suppose I have multiple menus on the title page.
I would like these menus loop for example the
first few seconds of the chapter they are linked to.
What authoring tool can I use to do this?
Thanks.

ULEAD DVD Workshop
Dazzle DVD complete
Both these packages will do this. In fact they will actaully generate the necessary menus complete with moving chapter thumnails. -
I use ULEAD DVD workshop. Very impressed with it, although I use nero to burn ISO images I create with workshop, as workshops burning engine won't burn to the zero defex DVD-R's I have. But for moving menu's, very good.

I know you can using movie clip as menu background in Ulead Workshop but didn't know about the menu. Does movie clip on menu run in preview?
-
If you preview it will render moving thumbnails and background. If you have selected them to be moving of course.

Thanks. I downloaded the Ulead DVD Workshop and it works
great.
When you create the menu, there is a Motion Menu option on the
top left. You need to enable the option. Once on the preview,
you need to render the motion menu to see it. -
Dazzle's DVDComplete will do motion thumbnails and motion backgrounds. But I have found that playback of a DVD authored with DVDComplete with both motion thumbnails and background is not smooth on most players. I generally just use one or the other on a menu page.
