    Hello,

    I Have a Matshita UJDA720 DVD/CDRW combo drive, running Xp and burning with Nero 5.9

    I know the Cds have data in it.. but it still recognizes it as a blank Media. It recognizes dvds. It also has problem burning data. Nero says the burning is sucessful but when i put it back in it says its a blank cd. I sometime also get Power Calibration Error when burning with Nero. Any help would be appreciated.

    Do you have simulate enabled?

    you mean simulate in Nero? If that what you are asking, then no..

    Data is being burned on the cd. But when i put the cds back in the drive it recognizes it as a blank cd. This happens in all the burned media i put in of different types and from different manufacturers.

    Maybe your laser burned out? Did you contact the manufacturer or the PC maker?
