When I'm opening a DV video-file in Virtualdub through Avisynth (DirectShowSource("C:\\My Documents\My Videos\test2.avi") I'm not getting any audio.I've tried DV-1 and DV-2 files using DVIO. Anybody knows why there is no audio, and how I can get it using Avisynth?

did you set yuor wavsource inside avisynth?? , you could also load the audio manually in vdub by going to the audio tab.

if it's an .avi file u should use avisource('' blah, blah, blah")
with directshowsource you need to use the audiodub command with a seperate .wav file"The software said Win XP or better, so I Installed Linux" -
Well, it turns out directshowsource does work and gives audio as well, I was using Avisynth 1.0beta3 and when I installed an older version it worked perfectly.
