  1. I am running Windows XP, and have got a 128MB 3D Force Video Card, with 1024MB of Ram, and a 1.8Ghz AMD Athlon CPU. My PC is only a couple of weeks old, and doesn't Have any of the DIVX Codecs on the machine, as I have heard that DIVX 5.02 Codec is very unreliable. When I rip a dvd, the quality is unwatchable. When it plays, it skips a split bit of a second every couple of seconds, and is very fuzzy picture. Does anybody know what might be the problem, as previously on my old computer, I have ripped dvd's, and they were of a reasonable quality. But towards the end of when I had my old computer, I had downloaded a few different codecs. Also should having a large video card, make it so that the quality of a ripped dvd was better, and even the viewing quality doesn't seem to be as good on this 128MB one, as my old 32 MB one. So if anybody can help with the answers to these couple of questions, it is appreciated.

My only guess is that it's something with your video card. Call the company or something and complain. If their card isn't the problem they'll probably be able to help you with whatever is.
