i just got the dru500a sony burner, and needing a better capture card to do dvd stuff. I really do not want to spend any more than $200. Can someone help reccomend me a good video capture?
I figured I can get the ATI all in wonder 128 mb version. How good is the capture? I want to do VHS and LASERDISC to DVD.
If this the card I indeed need. how much does it go for at the cheapest price possible?
Any info is appreciative.

Well, I tried some ATI cards and found them to give quite blurry results... I don't know if cards withing that price range will give significantly better results than say, a generic bt8x8 card... And most of the time, you need a source that's good/clean enough to spend the $$ on a better capture card. Sure, there are betetr capture cards at some high prices, but within' say 200$, you're not gonna make a VHS look like DVD.... Good luck in your quest for the perfect cheap card. Lots of people are still looking for that one.
