  1. Hello,

I have tried at least six DVD ripping programs in the past month, EazyVCD is the first one that worked the first time and didn't require a master's degree or downloading six other programs to do so! I highly recommend it! The only issue I have is the lack of help - I've noticed a lot of questions asked and answered on this site, so I'm hoping to get some answers as well! I have two questions:

    1. Can I rip directly from DVD to CD-R? I've been ripping to my hard drive, then using my burner utility to copy the files over to my CD-R.

    2. Are there any known issues with MPEG playback? I ripped a number of movies yesterday to MPEG format, the only one I can playback is the first "episode" of a tv show compilation DVD. All of the others just lock up my player. For playback, I've tried 6 different players with the same result.

I have a Windows XP machine and am using EasyVCD version 1.12.

    Thanks!

I have to agree with you about Easy VCD. It is amazingly easy and works like a charm.

Most discussions here are about TMPGENC and sometimes I think people try to make it as complicated as possible.
