    anyone know how to back up xbox games dvds to cd-r's this is slightly off topic but if anyone knows it would be the users of vcdhelp...thanks....

    Hello . . .

    The answer to your question can be summmed up in two words - "dvd" and "cd-r". The sheer difference between data rates (both storage and transfer), and the fact that the dvd drive in the x-box is in no way certified or capable of handling cd-r discs (more a firmware issue than anything else) means that you won't be able to "back up" your dvd's.
