  1. Hello! I am having issues with a file converting to VCD. It is originally a DIVX AVI file. What happens is I use TMPEG to turn it to a VCD Coded MPEG and then burn it using Nero. When I pop the VCD into my DVD player the sound is practically gone. You can barely here the voices in the background like an echo, the background music is heard just fine, but the voices are all messed up. The file plays just fine on a computer though. The file specs are as follows:

The video portion is in DivX MPEG-4 Low Motion
The sound portion is MP3 at 48000 HZ 2 channel stereo

My guess is one of the channels is getting screwed somewhere. Any help out there?

did you use tmpgenc to do the audio or did you use virtualdub? if you used tmpgenc, then there's your problem.

  3. So should I then save a WAV file from Virtual DUB then multiplex it with Tmpgenc? Or some other way?
