the PAL (DivX) to SVCD blues...

yeah so encoding PAL movies has been a problem for me. i have a movie that is PAL and it is 576x312. when ever i try to encode it with tmpgenc it always comes out as a 4:3 ratio. i have tried the messing with the source aspect ratio option under the "advanced" tab in the settings menu and had the video arrange method on "full screen." i encoded a few test videos and tried them out using windvd but it doesn't seem to be working. can some one help me out with this problem?

Source aspect ratio should be 1:1(VGA) and Video arrange method should be Full screen (keep aspect ratio) for an avi. This will give correct aspect ratio provided your source avi has correct aspect ratio.
