I have an older Panasonic PV-DV910 and was hoping to make some small adjustments to increase the quality. Here's a link to the item.

Are there external connections that I can get for this to enhance the audio or video? It has a mic port and it has a lens ring that comes off but it doesn't look like there are a lot of extras to place on it.
If there isn't anything, are there recommended settings, environments, etc to help the camera capture optimal video?
Thank you for the help.
