    is anyone having trouble with avi files playing upside down?
    it's very frustrating with the time it takes to download and then have it play upside down.
    i'm using "the playa" but i'm having no luck.
    does anyone have an answer?

    You can run the file through Vdub and select "vertical flip" filter.
