    I am currently using the ATI MMC 7.1 software with my ATI Wonnder VE card. When using AVIIO do the generic drivers(sourceforge) need to be installed because when I open AVIIO I get the same error message that I get in Vdub, "Capture device not detected". Thanks for the help.

    no they do not. i have ti tv wonder and i use avi io all the time. try restart and open avi io first and be sure you have settings right. did you dload the newest updates from ati.com?
