  1. I can't get any vcd's to play in my bush 2000 dvd player, despite it saying "on the tin" that they play.

I've tried commerical and burnt-on CD-r using both Nero, and TMPenc etc done by myself and other people. No luck.

When I insert the Vcd I get (on the display):

    Read disk
    then
    0---
    then
    No Disk

    Any ideas?

Are you positive about the commercial VCD. It's really pressed, not just silver on silver CD-R?

You can check by popping it into your PC and using your burning software to get media info.

  3. Snowmoon,

might have answered my problem then. Although they were 'bought' they aren't on proper printed Cd's.

So my Bush can't play CD-rs. Anyway round that?

    Colin.

You MIGHT have better luck with CD-RW's, but they are more expensive.
