  1. I just created a dvd-r movie from a dvd9, but the process I used, DVD to DVD-R for DUMMIES, didn't explain how to add the trailers or deleted scenes that accompany the DVD. After the process from DVD9, I noticed an extra amount of free space left. About 1.5 GB. Is there a "HOW TO" out there or can anyone explain it in plain English on how to get this done.

  2. with 1.5GB left, probably better to start in the other end.

    Rip the whole DVD.
Decide what vobs you do not want (like the "making of")

Strip remaing vobs, so only one audio channel and one subtitle is left.
If it is below 4.37GB you are set.

Move over the original Menu VOBS a Video_TS files.

Your copy will now have menus and everything, and when you select
"making of" in the menu it should just ignore this selection.

  3. hey thanks tony, but that still didn't answer my question. and what if I didn't have the 1.5GB? What if it was only.5GB? Can i add the VOB trailer/files from the original dvd to the newly created video_ts folder and make them run as part of the DVD.

  4. Ifoedit 0.95 can not do 2 titles yet.
    but next version will.

So for now you would need to merge the vobs with vobedit.
