  1. i am totally new to this and would like some help on burning vcds.i buy off a very nice man on my local market and have tried to copy disc to disc and also by copying to wy desktop but to no avail.i have tried to follow the instructions on the nero link but it would not work and kept coming up access denied.could some1 please help a pc virgin out?

  2. IM GOING TO ASSUME YOU ARE COPYING AN SVCD?YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUST COPY ONE SVCD TO A BLANK DISC THROUGH THE WIZARD.NERO I THINK IS ONE OF THE BEST.GIVE ME A FEW MORE DETAILS AND ILL TRY TO HELP

  3. sak id appreciate that, what other details do u need?the original is on a database media 80min cdr, the files r as follows- file cdi, inside reads cdi-imag, cdi-txt.fn, cdi-vcd.app, cdi-vcd-cfg...file ext- inside is lot-x.vcd, psd-x.vcd....filempegav- inside is avseq01....file segment is blank and file vcd- inside is entries.vcd, info.vcd, lot.vcd, psd.vcd.
    when i try 2 burn it gets to 34% then comes up burn process failed @ 24x3600.

    when i try to copy to a new folder it comes up cannot copy avseq01- the system cannot read from the specified device.
    if you need more info let me no.i hope u can help m8.

  4. FIRST IT MIGHT BE YOU HAVE THE WRONG CODEX INSTALLED GO TO

  5. hello......this may be a simplistic answer to your question...but if you only want to do a straight copy of a vcd or anyother disc. .....CLONE CD. .in my opinion is the best copier out there hope this helps...

  6. to big; thanx tried to download clone cd but wouldnt let me


    to sak; done that and the same thing happened.wouldnt let me go down 2 4 either minimum was 8

    you should be able to do a str8 disc copy w/any burning software, regardless of whether you have any codecs installed or not.
    they are not needed to copy CD's.
    I would maybe try burning at a lower speed--although I don't necessarily think you need to go as low as 4x.
    what speed is the reader you're copying from?
    there's a rule of thumb about how much faster your reader needs to be than the speed at which you burn--twice as fast?--anybody that remembers, feel free to correct me.
