i dunno if this dvd player is out everywhere or no? i got it today at circuit city for 60 dollars. its a pretty good dvd player. it doesn't mention the ability to play vcd and/or svcd, but it does. i dont think it plays xsvcd or xvcd or anything like that cause it rejected one of my svcds which was (i think) a xsvcd. i dunno about dvd-r, i haven't tried it yet. well thats my mini review of it. i didn't post it on the site because it requires a info page, which this dvd player doesn't have. also it plays any cd-r media. it played my cheap cd-r's that i bought from fry's.
