Recently, I got to know the great advantages of the Noise Reduction Filter in TMPGEnc. The output result is great. But the problem is... when enabling/using this filter, the encoding process will take ATLEAST *5x* longer than as if it was disabled. I tried experimenting with the settings, at minimal setting (lowest possible), it is still 5x the encoding time.
I was wondering if there is an alternative to using this filter during TMPGEnc. Instead, perhaps using VirtualDub's Noise Reduction. And will it result in the same quality as of TMPGEnc's Noise Reduction Filter?
Thanks for any input.
