  1. I'm having a little problem with some of the divx files that I'm creating. Evidently the video aspect of the MPEG files can be encoded to DIVX by choosing the compression algorithm to be DIVX 5.0.2 (using Virtualdub). This works perfectly fine. But there's a small little catch. Virtualdub does not allow me to select any compression algorithm for the audio. In other words the resulting files contain small video streams but huge audio streams. Does anyone know how to work around this using virtualdub because upto this point I can't seem to figure how to make the audio compression for my files, selectable

What happened after you selected Audio-->Full Processing mode?
    Hello.

  3. When I choose full processing mode virtual dub did indeed allow me to choose a compression algorithm but the audio tends to be out of sync with the video. I'm just gonna try doing everything seperate. You know compress the video first and then the audio. Hopefully I'll make progress that way. Thanks for the reply
