    I have an 745 mb DIVX file and I need to get it down to 700 so I can burn it to a CD. How might I be able to do this? And what programs are there that can do this?

    If you want to make a (S)VCD from your DivX file then follow the link Tommyknocker provided. If you only wanted to reduce the size of your DivX file to burn it as data then use Virtual Dub and follow this guide. You might just get lucky if the end credits of your movie (if it is a movie) are long enough (if it is the end you want to cut off ).
