  1. I have a DivX movie that I want to convert to SVCD, the file is 23.976 fps so it was telecined. Most of the movie is fine but every now and then it's interlaced, I checked the file VDub and those frames really look interlaced. I guess I can deinterlace the movie to fix it, but my question regards SVCD so I want to know: if I'll encode the file as interlaced MPEG2 will I see the interlace artifacts on my TV?
If the question is yes, I also want to know what will be the best method to deinterlace, and the best program to do it?

    Thanks.

  2. Ooopsie, meant to say that the file was INVERSE TELECINED.
And, not "If the question is yes", it's supposed to be "If the answer is yes"
sorry, don't know what happened to me...

  3. When you encode it with tmpgnc go to the advance menu and select the deinterlace box. Open it up and select even field. This should solve your problems
