    Hi,
I just got a generic firewire card to capture DV or digital 8 video. It works great.
I did a 18 min. video and i began to export it directly from the proyect in Premiere to a Sony digital 8 camcorder. Worked fine but sometimes the video just went crazy and started to reproduce like fast foward, so i had to do all the recording again.
It could happen at any part of the proyect but usually happened around 14-15 min.
Can anybody help me with this thing?. Is a Ram thing or not?

Bet you anything your hitting FAT32's 4gig limit. All you can do to fix this is capture the video in segments, or install an operating system that uses NTFS(2000, XP)

i thought that the FAT32 limit was with files above 2GB (or it was 4?) but not with a proyect that i'm playing in Premiere and recording through DV. I'm wrong in this point?

And if i change one partition of the HD (C- win 98se D-new OS E-files in fat32)) to NTFS could i have incompatibilities with the video files in a partition in FAT32?
