  1. All of my SVCDs seem to play with a 3:4 aspect ratio instead of a 4:3. I have tried opening in multiple programs and tweaking the settings, to no avail. Is this a problem with the codec? How can I fix this? I'm worried that when I burn it for play in my DVD player, it will retain this screwed up aspect ratio.

BTW, heres a pic of what I mean below:

  4. It's normal. try playing it in a DVD software player like WinDVD or PowerDVD and it should playback fine.
    Happy to be here.
