I have DV captures from my DV camcorder. I edit in Premiere 6.5 and export to MPEG (either Premiere or TMPGEnc). I'm trying to understand whether to Interlace or Deinterlace. I want to make VCDs to play on stand-alone DVD players showing on regular TVs (interlaced, right?). So should they be set to Interlaced? What about if they are played on a PC with a DVD player?
Or does it really matter? If I play one of my commercial DVD's on my computer, it looks terrific.
