mpeg2 info tool?

is there a tool out there that will tell me all the info about a mpg file?

looking for bitrate, aspect ratio, cbr or vbr, gop, and most important! interlaced or not.

i have some shows i ripped from my tivo and converted them to m2v and m2a file but when i import it into DVDit PE, create chapter points and then try to create a thumbnail DVD it pukes and says the file isn't supported. it will play the file fine though.

i think it is because it is interlaced and dvdit wants non-interlaced
