Hi all,
I'm looking to enhance the composite video output of my VCR so that I can capture better quality VHS. I came across a "CM2 Copymate Deluxe" here:
http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/873-cm2-copymate-deluxe-video-enhancer.html
I notice it can be used for composite to Svideo conversiopn also. Has anyone tried or seen it in operation...comments?
PS. There's also another version without the Svideo connections:

I looked at that link....maybe if you were going from vcr to vcr that would help or be worth while....
But it does not appear to do anything that you can't do with VirtualDub and a few good filters if your capturing or running through the PC...and VirtualDub is much cheaper. -
I have tried it, and it was crap! With the processing that it did, it actually made a decent tape look worse. It would be most effective with really bad tapes, that are too dark and lots of drop-outs.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
