Does anyone have any experience with the Pinnacle DV500DVD card on one of the fairly new Dell Dimension 4550 PCs? The 4550 uses P4 with 533MHz FSB and DDR333 RAM. I am not sure which mobo this is, but Pinnacle has apparently only tested the Precision Workstations from Dell, which are way overpriced and not very flexible (not enough available slots and bays).
Dell also has a Dimension 8200 and 8250 that use PC800 and PC1066 RDRAM, respectively. I wonder if either of these setups would be compatible with the DV500DVD??
Any help is appreciated.

I've got a DV500 DVD in a Dell 8200 P4 2GHz with 512MB DDR RDRAM and it works great! I know others have experienced trouble with Dells and Pinnacle stuff, but my setup works great. Just an FYI, I've also got a multitrack audio card, a Promise IDE controller card, network card, and video card also in the system. I'm running win2k and it works like a charm. Hope that helps.
