which dvd player 2 buy got $190

Ok i need help i am sat here with my credit card and havnt got a clue whot dvd player 2 buy, some people say a dvd player is greate and plays formats then people say they cant get certain formats to play.

My main goal is to buy 1 that supports dvd, vcd, svcd xvcd xsvcd mp3 and possibly cvd but not realy botherd have $190 2 spend.

any ideas only people that actual have the dvd player plz leave a message dont be guessing plzzzzz

Jamie, look in the Argos catalogue. They list an alba DVD108, although if you go to the store you may find that they actually supply the DVD114 which is a better player. They are offering this as a replacement because I assume that they can't get enough 108's. When you buy it they will warn you that they will not play VCD, however this is not true.

The 108 will play VCD, albeit with a remote hack, however the 114 is region free will play VCD, SVCD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CDR, CDRW and MP3 with no hack required. Not sure about XVCD, XSVCD, hav'nt tried it. I was so pleased with this player I bought 3 of them, and the best news is they are only £69.95

You need to specify if you want progressive and component-out too.

Even if you current TV does not support it,
do you have plans to buy one that do soon?

And your username have UK in it, so are you in UK?

Knowing where you are also helps selecting what DVD player
is the best value for you.

P.S do not use '2' when you mean 'to', and for '1' use 'one' instead.
