  1. I did a search and could not find what I was looking for..I am hoping this was not already posted.

    I was reading the post on DIVX to SVCD using DVD2SVCD

    I have a couple of questions.

    I usually take the audio out first...with this program.using CCE can you put the audio in WAV format separate? the guide does not mention this. it shows putting the AVI in and the audio track automatically comes up...I would like to extract the audio first....with AC3 its easy to extract with goldwave...then put the video and audio together...

    Also can you use an XVID file the same way?

    DVD2SVCD seperates the audio anyway for you and encodes the audio not with CCE - so its unnessessary to pre seperate them

    does DV2SVCD and CCE support AC3 and XVID? I know most things out there now are going AC3

    yes it supports ac3 just fine .. i only assume it also supports xvid
