When I try capturing video from my dvd player or tv it will not let me capture anything longer than 7 minutes, even though the capture settings say i can capture for many hours. it doesn't matter if I choose a different format, bitrate, etc., once i start capturing the longest it will go before it stops is about 7 min.
i have no idea why this is doing this. i didn't have the problem before, but I had to reformat my computer, and re-install everything, now I can't get it to work properly. i have 60 gigs of free space on a secondary HD that is captures to, so space isn't the problem.
does anybody have any ideas, or need me to post any more specs?
thanks
