I just came across a hundred DVD-R's for £56 stg on overclockers http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Blank_CD___DVD_Media_44.html.

If there is anybody out there with experience of these DVD-R's you're comments would be welcome.

Also if anyone knows of online outlets in Europe offering DVD-R's for a similar price could you let me know.

    Many thanks,

  2. I bought 60 vivastar discs and most of them are still sitting in a cupboard because they were the worst discs i've had.

anything over about 3gb was unwatchable, if i were you i would get some slightly better quality media.

Try http://www.wcwmedia.com/ i use either the Choice or Superior discs as these are both good for video and write at 2x on a pioneer a03/a04

  4. Well, well. They deliver to UK only.
There are some, who deliver to continental Europe too:
www.bigpockets.co.uk - it is courier delivery and so it is wise to make relly bulk order. Deliveries only inside EU.
www.cdr-by-mail.co.uk - Deliveries everywhere by post or courier. I'm personally waitin 3rd week for airmail package from them

UPDATE: There are even more delivering to Republic of Ireland, just search Google for +"dvd-r" +price +uk (or something)
BTW: Thx for Nice votes last sunday!

I'll agree with Spooki. Anything over 3 gb caused my player to lock up and skip towards the end of the disc.

  6. I have tried the Bulkpac General Purpose with mixed results, But I suppose you get what you pay for.

Are any of the branded dvd-r's worth getting, and if so any recommendations.
